Yesterday went pretty well. We cleaned the house like mad and I hosted a Mary Kay party. It went pretty well and was fun. My house still looks good. lol

Today we are going to a birthday party. Actually there are two birthday parties and they kinda conflict with each other. But we will get it figured out. Hopefully today will be a good day.

Well the eggs are all done. Dyed, stickers on and back in the fridge. I just hope is doesn't snow like crazy tonight so we can actually hide them.

I am so done! You would think that some things would be a priorty. But I guess not. You know have dinner at a decent hour and be able to dye eggs before bedtime. I wanted to wait until Joe wasn't working. He didn't work today. We always do the eggs after dinner and Sammy goes to bed at 7. So how does he expect all to be done before bedtime when he is going to a friends house to get tires. You think he would be right back? No. Some things are more important than bull shitting.

A bad day

Today was one of those days. Again. I'm pretty tired of it. I haven't figured out what triggers it but I just woke up pissed as good be. I have decided to to try and make myself write here daily just so I can't vent and get it all out good or bad. Anna totally irked me the moment she walked up this morning. Actually she irked me before she woke up. I am so sick of my living room being a wreck. You would think that after me asking and telling her over and over again to make sure all of her stuff and the babies stuff is picked up she would do it. I really think it is the least she could do being that she is living here free and all she is supposed to do is do the few things that are asked of her. She laid on a guilt trip the other day that she is a single mother and it is just so hard. Don't give me that crap! You have so much support in this house and she has nothing to worry about other than her own personal drama that she brings on herself. She doesn't work, she doesn't go to school. WTF!

The boys have been on one today. Just buggin' constantly. Mom, mom, mom, mom, mom, ugh. So Joe gets home for work in a pissy mood. Then I'm trying to talk to him and he just walks away when I'm in the middle of a sentence to go talk to the neighbor. I'm fucking over it. Now he wants me to tell him what I was saying, but I just don't feel like it.

2009 Lincoln County Relay For Life

So here are the final numbers from the 2009 Lincoln County Relay For Life!

Grand Total: $27,523.08
Survivors: 88
Relay Store: right about $1000
Rummage sale: right about $500

I am really thrilled about these numbers! Considering our low teams. I am pretty sure next years Relay will be held Friday August 6th 2010! I would love to have our over all theme to be Sports to encourage more games at the Relay. Please let me know what you all think about this. I have tons of ideas.

Lets hit my goal of 30 teams this coming year. I hope to get out all info out to you as soon as possible.

Freedom Writers

Have you watched the movie Freedom Writers? I have, many times, and I LOVE it. I am now reading the book. I Love it too.

It really makes me think that I really should put my feelings, my life, my thoughts all down. Whether it be here or in a journal of my own. I guess should do that. I'll start now...

I am Liz. I am 32 years old. I have a wonderful husband, and a bunch of kids. lol I try to be a good mother and wife. I do the best that I can.

I was born and raised in California. My mom is a wonderful person. She is a single parent. My mom and dad divorced when I was just 6 months old. She worked very hard to support me.

Dad is a "Disneyland Dad". He would take me camping, on trips to Disneyland and Hawaii. He was alot of fun. He got remarried and his new wife had a son. He was my brother. We had a ton of fun together getting into trouble, playing gi joes, and watching cartoons. We used to jump off the two story roof and into the pool then running to the hot tub. We were weird I think. lol We played in pavement while it was still warm, messing it up.

Ok this is just blah blah blah but I am really getting frustrated and gggrrrrr!

So you all know that I am heavily involved with the local Relay For Life right? If not let me know and I will give you the full run down.

I have only gotten $20 in donations for my team. One other team member has done like $250 and my other team member has done $0. That is just not acceptable! Need to figure out how to get those numbers up!

Second I can not get my Team Captains to get on the ball and turn their paper work in so I can get the T-Shirt order in by tomorrow! It has to be in or I won't get the shirts in time. There is a time that has not even registared yet and I can't get ahold of them and I need their info too.

I just don't know what to do! I know part is my fault because I haven't hounded them the way I normally do but come on!

Today has been a day! Last night Team Captain meeting went well. Today I have to start the t-shirt order and get it in by tomorrow. It's gonna be fun! Next meeting is on the 22nd. We are down to 28 days till relay!

We had Sammy's Early Head Start home visitor come today. We made paper bag puppets. I can't believe how well he can cut with sissors now! She also did an ELAP. He is around the 36 month marker! He is only 28 months old! His language is up and he can do so many things that he wasn't able to do just a few months ago. I am such a proud mommy! We only have 8 months left of Early Head Start then we transition him to Head Start. We sure are going to miss her!

Yesterday we went to a social for Early Head Start and Sammy had a great time! We played out side and had lunch. Oh Yeah I am now on the Policy Council with them too. I am the secretary and tresurer. Gonna be a fun thing for me to do.

I don't really know what I'm gonna do for the rest of today. I'm not feeling in an up mood and would rather sit here and do nothing. But I have laundry to do and who knows what else.

I can't believe that the 2009 Lincoln County Relay For Life is 29 days away! August 7th and 8th starting at 6pm on Friday the 7th and ending at 9am on Saturday the 8th. Please come and join us.

We have a Team Captain Meeting to night at 6pm. I hope everyone has money to turn in. I wish we had more teams too.

It was a beautiful weekend and beautiful the first couple of days of the week. Then it started raining yesterday and it snowed most of the day today.

I hope to get my new scrapbooking room set up so I can get some scrappin done! I know I keep saying this. But really I need to get busy!

I took Joe and Anna to the airport today to go get her car. What a long drive back for me. lol Sammy was a terror in the store. He was fine for awhile but then he just screamed and screamed. I even forgot to give the cashier my DL to make it tax exempt. Wow!

I really need to get motivated to scrap again. It just seems like I don't have time or I feel quilty for leaving Joe with Sammy. I know he doesn't mind but that's just the way I am feeling about it. I am going to get down in the basement and do at least one page. There is a card crop going on this week so hopefully I will get some inspiration from that. Well I will post more later.

Hi! This is my first time blogging. Ok so I kinda got it figured out.

It's snowing a little off and on today! I wish the weather would make up it's mind. We just keep getting teased with beautiful weather and then it snows. We have been working on cleaning the garage for the last week. It's looking good. We also hope to get a dump run in today. I have been seperating stuff out to sell at a yard sale. I have noticed that there is not much in that pile lol. Most of the other stuff I just can't figure out where to put it in the house. I don't have much shelving to put my figurines out. I used to put them on a bookshelf but it just got too cluttered. I want Joe to build me shelves that go around the top of the living room walls.

Sammy is growing way to quickly. He has been sick and messing his clothes two or three times a day. I keep running out of clothes to put him in. lol It's the wrong time of year to go out and buy sweats and the like. He has also been talking up a storm! He loves "reading" books. He definatly keeps me on my toes. Most days I can't wait until naptime just to get a break lol.

Shane is getting so big too. Kindergarten is going great for him. He loves counting and spelling. I love it!

Bradley is 14 and has that teenage attitude. Grrr! I am getting really sick of it.

Anna is 18 now and is going to gradute soon! I just can't believe it!

So anyway that's what's been going on around here. I hope to get some scrappin' done soon. I have had just no motivation or drive to do it.
